Committees
Outreach
The Outreach committee's biggest responsibility is PServesU which is a one-day service experience open to all Penn State students. While students are given the opportunity to dedicate their day to serving the surrounding community, PServesU also focuses on educating participants on the community need. Outreach committee members are also responsible for maintaining SES's website and PR efforts, recruitment including the involvement fair and meet and greet, and assisting with service and leadership projects.

The Special Events Committee works with the Special Events Director to plan, prepare, and execute all the events not directly related to SES’s service and leadership mission. Among the members of the Special Events committee are the Homecoming Chair, Thanksgiving Basket Chair, Banquet Chair, and Social Chair/s. Each of these chairs preform specific duties to provide members of the organization with opportunities to bond and grow among themselves, as well as to participate in campus activities through a university affiliate organization.

The Membership Development committee is responsible workshop efforts and member development in general, such as teaching SES members to be outstanding facilitators and leaders. The Membership Development committee is also responsible for new member education, SES's internal retreats, and SES Serves, our organization's internal service outreach.

Students Engaging Students is an affiliated student-run organization under the advisement of the office of Penn State Student Affairs and the Office of Student Activities.
